"The event was very inspiring; I really enjoyed her story. Her story has really taught me as a young black girl in this world not to settle for anything that is not best for me. As well as to always do what is best for myself at all times. I love that she was very true to herself and did not back down from telling everyone the truth. One part of her story that was very touching was when she held back her tears from her kids. This showed that she is a very strong mother.
